Capture the moment.
Sometimes we recognize the magic it while its happening… and sometimes moments don’t become sacred until we remember them later. Here are a few of my special memories that I attempted to capture after the fact.
Breakfast with my best girls in Colorado after being too long apart… The healing power of friendship and good bagels!
This is my friend Maddie at her desk where she writes her poems.
The Frances apartments in Montford is my favorite spooky looking building to wonder about in Asheville.
This is from a small music festival I went to in Virginia one weekend called Turkey Scratch. Lots of strings and dancing and yummy food to be had.
Another drawing from our Turkey Scratch weekend. Along the way to the festivities we canoed in the New River and picked paw paws. We carted a pie with us all the way and you can see in the other drawing that made it to the potluck!
Me and my friend Audrey unable to stop giggling during a yoga class one day…
Dinner date in New York City with my cousin Katherine before I left for a big adventure with my sister. We were cozy from the scary cold city inside this little dumpling house.
In love with the colors and textures of the Asheville Farmers Market
Snuggled up in bed one morning only to be woken up by a kind small spider that reminded me it was morning time.
Alex and I walking into the Asheville Tourists stadium just as they hit a home run.
The warmest place to be in cold, cold Vermont is stoking the fire in the Sugar House so we can have warm maple syrup on our pancakes.
This is Kevin. He’s one of those friends that just knows how to make you feel so loved and comfy. On this day he was bringing me pizza cause I was feeling some kind of blue.
A picture of me becoming a nurse and learning from the best.
This is me and my buddy boys after we stayed up late the night before cross country skiing until 2 am after a large snowfall in Vermont.
Here is Kade biking along the marsh in New Hampshire. A surprisingly beautiful night when a big moon rose over us.
This is the feeling of brushing your teeth for no one else but yourself.
Patiently studying and waiting in a sunny windowsill for a special someone to come home from work
Me and Cam taking a slow morning on the pullout couch to look through some coffee table book content.
A drawing of one of my wildly vivid and absurd dreams.
